Professor Richard D’Aveni’s Tour to India
ALL Ladies Leagues organized a grand interactive seminar across five different states in the country on ‘Strategic Supremacy’ with Strategy Guru, Prof. Richard D’ Aveni, Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College.
Richard D’ Aveni is top 20 amongst the management thinkers and in top 5 among the strategic thinkers. His highly original and imaginative work imports key ideas from the worlds of history and diplomacy to analyze and manage competitors and make decisions much more profitably. He is a winner of the prestigious A. T. Kearney Award for his research, and a leading strategy consultant worldwide.
In his recent tour to India, ALL Ladies League (ALL), the world’s first-of-its-kind all-inclusive international women’s chamber, organized thought provoking seminar on ‘Strategic Supremacy’ in Mumbai, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Vadodara and Delhi. The aim of the seminar was to provide in-depth understanding on Strategic Supremacy: How You Can Create Growth, Wealth and Power Through Spheres of Influence.
Strategic Supremacy, as Richard reveals, is a special kind of power-that does NOT come from your big size or how long you’ve been around. Instead, it comes from knowing your small strengths and using them smartly, strategically. Richard says, “It’s not what you have, so much as how you use it.???
“Today, India and all of us are poised at a strategic moment in time – one as significant as the dawn of our Independence and one that can change in fundamental ways the way we live and think???, said Dr. Harbeen Arora, Global Chairperson ALL Ladies League while addressing the audience.
In this intellectual session, Prof. D’ Aveni stressed on the need to maximize women participation and entrepreneurship in the country, to double up its pace of growth in India. He said, as an emerging market, India offers infinite opportunities for business and all that’s required is to boost women participation in the country.
