Dr. P. Siva Kumar is an Independent Medical Technology Professional. With over 35
years in the Healthcare Industry, the primary objective is to bring the latest technologies
in Med Tech Devices to India or facilitate the Inventors to take the technology to
Healthcare Service Providers.
His focus will be aimed towards Building Strategic Relationships and Collaborations
between the Innovators, Healthcare Service Providers and Organizations that deliver
the solutions to Hospitals and Laboratories across the country. One of the important
areas of focus will be facilitation in commercialization of innovations.
Dr. Siva Kumar is actively working with Medium to Large Healthcare Companies /
Organizations providing expertise in establishing processes to improve the businesses
and facilitate in their business growth by being a Strategic Advisor or Member of their
Board. He works closely with MNC Companies, the Local Partners and the
Stakeholders in providing market entry and go to market strategies.
Apart from the Business-related activities, Dr. Siva Kumar is a mentor in the Med Tech
Sector and works closely with various stakeholders. He is associated intimately with
Industry, Academic Institutions and Government to work towards bridging the gap
between Academia and Industry.
Dr. Siva Kumar is actively involved in building testing strategies, identifying diagnostic
solutions during the recent COVID Pandemic. He has been working with several Indian
and Multinational Manufacturers to introduce their solutions in India.
Dr. P. Siva Kumar was most recently the Chief Executive Officer of Trivitron Healthcare
Private Limited, Chennai, one of the largest medical devices players in India.
He was the Country Manager for at Agilent Technologies in India 5 years and was
responsible establishing strategies to further grow the business and make Agilent the
market leader in the Analytical Instrument segment in India. Prior to joining Agilent, he
was heading the Analytical Instruments Division at Thermo Fisher Scientific.  While at
Thermo Fisher Scientific he has been responsible for establishing processes and brings
the Mass Spectrometry business to a higher level.
Siva Kumar established career in healthcare industry with Ranbaxy Laboratories
Limited as General Manager, became Country Manager, Dade Behring Diagnostics in

India when Ranbaxy divested its diagnostics business to Dade Behring Inc. 
Subsequently he became the Managing Director of Siemens Healthcare Diagnostics.
Siva Kumar holds a doctorate degree in Biochemistry from Osmania University,
Hyderabad.  After his Doctoral Degree, he worked as Post-Doctoral Research Fellow in
USA (American Health Foundation, New York and Brown University, Providence).  He
has vast experience in the healthcare industry and has introduced newer technologies
in the India Diagnostics industry.
Siva Kumar is widely known in the Healthcare, Clinical Diagnostics and Analytical
Instrumentation circles and his main thrust has been to establish customer focused
service support system and provide right solutions to the customers.
