Zeinab el Ghatit

Psychologist, International Bestselling Author, Master Coach

Egypt

Throughout her fifty-year career, Zeinab el Ghatit, Clinical Psychologist, teacher, and Master Life Coach, has been empowering vulnerable individuals, especially women and parents of persons with disabilities, to be the best version of themselves in Cairo, Egypt and Ontario, Canada. In addition, as a result of her research through the Fulbright Foundation, Ohio State University and her integrated Department for the Developmentally Disabled young girls at the American College for Girls, she introduced the use of the AAMD Adaptive Behavior Scale as another measure of Developmental disability along with IQ testing. This additional scale improved the performance of such individuals and led to many of them living in their homes and many more were deinstitutionalized and placed in their own communities in Egypt. Through her twenty-five-year career with the Ministry of Community and Social Services in Ontario, Canada, she helped reassess and deinstitutionalize many persons with Developmental Disabilities from Residential Facilities into their communities. She also helped develop programs and homes in their communities to support them. Now, she continues to coach and empower vulnerable women and persons with children with disabilities, internationally through her Program Mornings with Zizi on Facebook and her Youtube Channel, Linkdin:
