Yvonne is a Communications, Media and Business professional. She has amassed an extensive range of experience offering business advisory and technical support to Small to Medium Scale Enterprises [SMEs] and Social Enterprises.

This also includes delivering externally funded projects and development interventions, focused on assisting individuals within deprived communities to take charge of their lives through enterprise creation. This included assisting them to develop and understand their business models as well as facilitating further enterprise development through an extensive network of local support agencies and networks. Her experience in this area extends beyond the UK to business services in Myanmar, Malawi, Italy, Cameroon, Brazil, Jamaica and Ghana.

Assisted in the establishment of some of the first enterprise businesses in the London Borough Croydon under the Central Government LEGI [Local Enterprise Growth Initiative] Programme and went on to deliver on regeneration programmes across South and North London. Known for her innovative work on Women’s Enterprise, she extended business services via Enterprise4Women, aimed at women whilst incorporating softer skills development to enable women to perform more successfully in business.

She is a Winston Churchill Research Fellow 2010 and reported on ‘Support for New and Small Business in a Recession’ A Comparative Study of Business Services in the USA and the UK. Yvonne is a writer and appears in anthologies, and various online and offline publications, and was a column writer for the Voice Newspaper UK, on business issues.

She has published and presented a paper on ‘Customer Relationships in the African Caribbean Business’ 2013.

She holds additional qualifications in Coaching Organisations Through Change, Project Management, Adult Skills Training, an NLP practitioner and Writer. MA BA in Communications and Media and Diplomas in Business and Finance.
