From the house of Lotusse Lifestyles,Varija Bajaj is an artist living out her own experience through her label VARIJA – which means Lotus in Sanskrit. Her inspiration is Indian yet her clientele is global.Her Bridal line is colourful,textured and finely detailed with a strong boho feel.
Varija’s design thought process is explained succinctly in her own words: “My collection is all about vibrant colours, young silhouettes and unconventional concepts dressing people in style with an element of fun. They are a collection for real customers and not just the ramp.”
VARIJA Is a member of FDCI(Fashion Design Council of India) since 2009 and has been part of Wills India Fashion Week for several seasons.VARIJA also has a lot of joint shows with various lifestyle and fashion brands besides doing her own shows with different themes to her credit. Apart from retailing through 40 multi-brand stores pan-India….VARIJA retails through her falgship store in Defence Colony,New Delhi.
She is a stylist’s delight and her clothes have been picked for a few film sequences and T V shows, besides grooming people for the live make over session for TIMES NOW, Headlines Today, Aaj Tak, Zoom TV, News X and NDTV.
VARIJA has a lot of joint shows with various lifestyle brands apart from own shows.VLCC, All India Gems and Jewellery Federation, Premia Group, ASSOCHAM, GITANJALI Jewels….to name a few
Being a successful entrepreneur, in an unorganized fashion sector, she is now a case study in ISB Hyderabad, the most reputed B-schools of the country. She also has lectures given at FMS Delhi and XIC Mumbai to her credit,apart from being a mentor with over 10 fashion colleges across the country.
She is also on the advisory board of Amity University and International Polytechnic for Women.
Her collections are adorned by various bollywood celebs like Jacqueline Fernandis, Mugda Godse,Hrishita Bhatt,Asin, Karishma Kapoor,Veena Malik and Tanushree Dutta to name a few.
