Trainer, Author and Educationist
Vandana Arora is a Nature lover and a spiritual seeker. She is fond of reading books. She is a passionate writer and researcher. She works as Trainer and Educational Consultant. At a young age of 39, she was assigned the role of Principal of Dayanand Model Sr. Sec. School, Jalandhar, Punjab under the canopy of DAVCMC, New Delhi. She left no stone unturned to lead the school onto the path of glory. Two decades of rich experience in the field of education have empowered her with exceptional acumen.
Storm to Serenity (2014) and Poised Peace (2015) – two anthologies of poems by Vandana Arora have been widely appreciated. She has curated and edited a book of poems entitled A Beginning – Ek Agaaz, published in the year 2016. This book is unique as it comprises of poems by the poets of almost all age groups. Vandana has been instrumental in encouraging a 9 year old girl as well as a 70 year old woman to get their poems published. She has also edited Prudence in Prism (2016) and Lord is One (2016) – books on spirituality and Judaism respectively. She has contributed many articles and poems in leading newspapers, magazines, journals and blogs. Vandana, besides writing, loves to edit and review books. Recently, a book review by her fetched her an award from a prestigious literary magazine.
‘#She’, A collection of micro tales by Vandana Arora is her recent work, which is very close to her heart. This book of hers deliberates on the power, strength and positive energy that a woman carries within but often forgets about it. Vandana endeavours to remind her sisters on this planet to reclaim their hidden potential and make this world a worth living place. #She has also been selected for the launch in the month of October during World Poetry Conference, where many erudite and elite personalities at a global level will talk about her book. She has also been invited to present a Paper on Poetry at the Conference. Vandana Arora has also been invited as a Speaker by World Economic Forum, Kerela in the month of August.
She is also bringing out two more anthologies of poems entitled ‘Amaltas and Other Poems’ and ‘Petals of Poesy’. ’11 Months, 111 Lessons’, is another Self Help book by Vandana that is getting ready to go to print. A zealous writer, she is working on many other books too.
Despite having her life full of assignments and accolades, Vandana doesn’t forget to be compassionate. She visits Senior Citizen Homes and Orphanages and also is associated with some NGOs for the betterment of the society.
