Uma Saraf

Born in a Marwari Business Family, there was an inborn urge to contribute to society and social welfare. The journey started way back when I decided to go in for my graduation, something unprecedented in a Marwari family.
Being adamant helped and then there was no looking back. Started with the Lioness club, I was one of the founder members of Purwanchal Nagrik Samity, a charitable organization wherein I was instrumental in organizing eye camps in rural Bihar, flood relief camps, laying the foundation of a school. Moved on to become a Trustee in a rural school in Jasidhi and now have taken to meditation in a big way.
