My experience as an Education Specialist is the accrued benefit of working in various roles in the education industry. Starting my career as an Associate Systems Engineer, I realized my mission as an educator and worked for 16 years in the prestigious British School in New Delhi. Interacting with students and parents of 54 nationalities gave me the opportunity to become proficient in inter cultural dialogues and implementation of global programs. The curriculum for my subject invited healthy discussions based on experiences of students coming from different countries. It enhanced my experience to integrate technology in different subject areas and upgrade the technical expertise of the staff as well.
From a Head of Department and Head of IT in the British School, I moved on to become the Headmistress of a CBSE school and then a Trainer. My in depth content development and training delivery skills enable me to manage projects in an NGO. Being the implementation partner for almost all the IT organizations, I also led the CBSE Training project. Training conducted for all stakeholders of schools Pan India gave me the confidence to develop my personality and interpersonal skills at an even deeper level.
Heading the Training and Development of a group of 12 schools gave me further insight as an education management professional. As a Deputy Director cum Advisor of a group of schools, I could formulate policies and take the schools to the next level.
As an Education Specialist, I am conducting training on cyber safety, life skills for school and college students and teachers, English and mentoring students.
Personally I have Very high energy levels resulting from my enthusiasm. Am Highly aware of my surroundings and am comfortable working in a multi-cultural environment, Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, am logical and analytical in my approach towards work and life as a whole, am a good team leader and motivate my team members to grow along with me, work in good coordination with my seniors, adjust myself to any kind of environment very quickly.
