Tracie Marquardt is a Canadian CPA who provides communication skills training, coaching and consulting services to international professionals and global executives from her home base in Heidelberg, Germany. Tracie regularly speaks on the topic of communication, believing that we can add value to each other’s lives through positive communication, both professionally and personally, and ultimately contribute to each other’s success in life, no matter how that success is defined. Language, culture and attitude are huge factors in the success of our communication, and must be taken into account when we interact with and build relationships with others. By networking and working together around the world, we are able to build bridges and help others to achieve more than ever before. From a business perspective, Tracie’s mission is to help her clients communicate their key messages more clearly, concisely and persuasively as they travel the world, enabling them to achieve their desired results because their audience and stakeholders are inspired to take action. Her clients become agents of positive change and are recognized at C-level for their contributions to the success of their organizations. Tracie’s clients include global conglomerates, European institutions, private companies and entrepreneurs. Tracie has been living outside of her home country for over 25 years. Falling in love with Paris led Tracie to Europe, and for 17 years, she has travelled to clients worldwide. Tracie is the Immediate Past President of Heidelberg International Toastmasters Club, an active member and contributor of the Heidelberg International Professional Women’s Forum, and the Alumni representative for the University of Waterloo (Canada) in Germany. She recently stepped down as the Senior Ambassador for InterNations in Heidelberg after four years of service.
