Tonya McNeal-Weary is an award winning entrepreneur and global champion for women’s economic empowerment. In 2003, she founded the Michigan Association for Female Entrepreneurs (MAFE), a Detroit-based nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting, promoting and empowering female entrepreneurs in Michigan. Through her work with MAFE, Mrs. McNeal-Weary has helped thousands of women turn their entrepreneurial aspirations into realization. She is a remarkable woman who embraces the nontraditional, and helps bring out the best in everyone around her. Mrs. McNeal-Weary pays it forward, contributing time and resources to help inspire the next generation of female business leaders and entrepreneurs.
In 2012, she launched the Future CEO Leaders Program to provide mentoring and scholarship opportunities to young girls from underserved communities. Her passion for empowering women and girls has been recognized worldwide.
Mrs. McNeal-Weary is also the Founder and Managing Director of IBS Global Consulting Inc., a global management consulting firm that specialize in helping small and medium-sized companies expand into international markets. Her company, IBS Global Consulting, was named “Best Business Expansion Consultancy – Midwest USA” by Corporate Vision Magazine (2016) and received the British American Business Award from the British American Business Council of Michigan for achievement in promoting international trade between the UK and USA.
Additionally, each year Mrs. McNeal-Weary organize and lead a delegation of women entrepreneurs to countries across the globe to help women business owners broaden their exposure to international markets and global business opportunities. With her blog Think Global, Mrs. McNeal-Weary shares her expert advice and perspectives on international business issues.
Mrs. McNeal-Weary, a distinguished business and community leader, has achieved a continuous record of outstanding success throughout her career. She has earned numerous awards including the Global Trade Award (Michigan Trade Summit), World of Difference 100 Award (The International Alliance for Women), Outstanding Volunteer Award (Center for Empowerment and Economic Development), Entrepreneurs of Distinction Award (Corp! Magazine), Women Making a Powerful Difference Award (Ebony Magazine), AXA Achievement Award (National Association of Women MBAs), and Entrepreneurship 101 Award (Consortium for Entrepreneurship Education) for her outstanding leadership in the field of business creativity and entrepreneurship.
Mrs. McNeal-Weary is actively involved in numerous professional organizations. She serves as Michigan Chapter Chairperson for ALL Ladies League and Global Ambassador for Women’s Entrepreneurship Day in Michigan. She is a member of the International Trade Council, Organization of Women in International Trade (OWIT), Institute of Management Consultants USA, Business and Professional
Women International (BPW) and Global Woman Club. She has served has a guest speaker at conferences and events both nationally and internationally.

Mrs. McNeal-Weary holds an Executive Diploma in Management Consulting from Grenoble Ecole de Management (France), an MBA in International Business from Walsh College (USA), and a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing with an emphasis in Advertising and Promotion from Davenport University (USA)
