Tanja Bogataj

Tanja Bogataj is an Empowerment and (Self)Leadership Coach, Leaders’ Consultant, and #bepowerfulandfree® Founder, based in Slovenia, working internationally.
Before going into professional coaching 5 years ago, Tanja has first worked 6 years as a legal expert and then 12 years in the field of public policy, of which she has been last 10 years working on top leadership positions within the Government of Slovenia as a Deputy Director General; Director General for Urban Development, Housing and Building Construction; State Secretary for the Environment and Green Economy; and State Secretary for the Public Administration.
Tanja holds a B.A. Degree from Law (University in Ljubljana, 2000), Master Degree in Political Sciences – Public Policy Analysis with European Aspects (University in Ljubljana, 2004), and Master Degree in Management (University of Ljubljana, 2010). She attained her first Coaching Certification in 2012, and specialized in Leadership Coaching in 2015.
At her workTanja is helping leaders and business partnerships from different walks of life on their personal and professional development and mastery journey using her signature #bepowerfulandfree® approach.
Her unique gift is to intuitively connect with people and teams, serve as a channel for their bigger story, vision and mission to unfold, and then as a coach or consultant she provides for them the space and support to achieve desired results.
As a coach and consultant Tanja helps clients in different managerial roles by coordinating activities, projects and teams; moderating and fascilitating meetings and other events; facilitating group coaching sessions; drafting speeches, project ideas, learning programs, and scenarios for videos and events.
She’s been constantly developing and upgrading her #bepowerfulandfree® approach while working on her own personal and professional development, and working with people from different walks of life facing a variety of life and business challenges; such as going up/down the ladder, transiting to another profession/market; working with wins, losses, rejections in personal and professional situations, to name a few.
In her volunteering work (she’s a Founder and CEO of the Power for Change Institute, G100 Mentoring and Motivation Chair for Slovenia, and a Member of Female Wave of Change) she’s working on empowerment of society, women and youth.
