Swapna Toley

Swapna Toley, Founder and Director of a startup multi-Award winning healthy treats brand – Beebs, Burst of Energy in Every Bite.
Swapna was born in Indore, India (A foodie city) but grew up in different countries in Africa. She started her career in IT after completing a Masters in Computer Science in 2001. In April, 2018 Swapna launched a healthy energy bites brand called Beebs – Burst of Energy in Every Bite. Beebs offers a gift of wellbeing through natural plant based ingredients used. What inspired Swapna to launch Beebs was that her husband is a diabetic with dairy and gluten intolerance there were limited healthy snacking options available in the market that were made from natural ingredients. Her focus as a parent was also for her loving daughter to adopt a healthy lifestyle from an early age.
Through Beebs, Swapna wanted to share part of her heritage with a focus on healthy snacking. Her aim is to contribute to change in her own little way by encouraging everyone to follow a healthy lifestyle by offering sustainable food choices as physical and mental wellbeing is directly related to what we eat and drink.
Last year in September, Beebs was part of the Diabetic Summit organsied by Sugarwise at the House of parliament in London. This year in February, Swapna was felicitated by the Indian Chamber of Youth Entrepreneurs at India House and in April 2019, Swapna was honoured by the Overseas Maharashtrian Professionals and Entrepreneurs Group with the ‘Dare to Dream’ Award. As a brand, Beebs won three Great Taste Awards in August and in September, Beebs won a Merit at the Nourish Awards.
