Sujata Sahay, is a seasoned marketing professional with more than 17 years of experience in welding & manufacturing industry. A certified Lean Professional and a LSSGB, with her educational training from MITx, DU, AIMA and CWB, her understanding of consumer behaviour and the market is impeccable.While her career began with marketing of innovated products, she went on to establish IndiaWelds, a firm working in the mechanical engineering sector.
As the Co-founder & CEO of IndiaWelds, she established one of the first woman owned consultancy and training firm for the welding industry which also became a GoI Recognised StartUp that worked to bring Industry – Academia symbiosis for the growth of the welding & manufacturing sector, breaking the gender stereotypes in the welding sector.
Till date, her firm IndiaWelds has conducted more than 80 workshops, training more than 2200 professionals and benefitting 400+ organisations across the country. Her assessment, curated training and re-assessment of the in-service workforce has been well accepted by the industry – from steel fabricators to defence manufacturers. Through her workshops, she has established training in India, for the World.
