Sudhakar Kaza

Retired as the Managing Director of Bharatiya Reserve Bank Note Mudran Private Ltd of in May 2017. During my stint of three and a half years as MD, significant changes in currency printing management were successfully undertaken which included managing currency operations during the Demonetization. Was associated with the designing and introduction of The New Mahatma Gandhi series of notes in 2016. Experienced in oversight and the successful conduct of complex global tenders and ensuring significant cost savings to the country. Acknowledged expertise in CVC guidelines and public procurement. In my career of 35 years, have handled major path breaking projects for RBI in leadership roles. These were in the areas of Payment Systems, Currency Management and Customer Service. Was a Member on the Board of J & K Bank in 2003/2004 and State Bank of Hyderabad from 2010 to 2014. In RBI, I lead large Payment System projects involving management of diverse interests and navigate the Government, banking and Private sector participants towards achievement of a common goal.
