Stephanie Ofosu Armaah

I am Stephanie Ofosu Armaah a recent graduate from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology with a Bachelor’s degree in Landscape Design and Management. I also have a background in Business and Entreneurship as a graduate of Obama’s Young African Leadership Initiative with the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration. I have a strong background in the areas of environmental protection, business and project development, agribusiness, communication skills and computer literacy. In my second year of education, a classmate and I proposed, designed and executed a project for our University’s main taxi rank. Also during my third year of my undergraduate studies, together with two other classmates, we proposed and executed a Landscape Design Project for the University’s main entrance without compulsion. A proposal was developed for the abandoned Kumasi Children’s Park as my final year project dissertation, the park is located in my community of residence where I grew up. I saw this is an opportunity to give back to my people. I also had the privilege of being appointed as the first female General Secretary for AgroMindset Group students chapter of the university for a year. I also got trained as intern between my second and final year of university education at the Department of Parks and Gardens of the Kumasi Metropolitan Assembly as a landscape designer and nursery manager. For my national service period as a graduate I got the rarest opportunity to serve my school and country as a Teaching and Research Assistant at my graduating department for a year.
I am a firm believer of UBUNTU, which means “I am because You are”. I am good at one thing but through synergies I could also rely on the strength and experience of others to achieve a greater goal for all. I am currently on probation as Executive Assistant at MasterMind Incorporated, a private organization into Project Management, Brokerage, Real Estate Development and Agribusiness with the aim of promoting the Afropolitan Lifestyle amongst people. I am also the founder of Circles Reachout Ghana, an NGO that focuses on child education, youth and women empowerment and general donations to less privileged towns in Rural Ghana. For the past five years now, my team and I have been supporting communities. I have also engaged in various programs within the Agricultural Value Chain and I hope to be able to team up with the youth and stakeholders in promoting Eco friendly Agricultural methods by providing extension services in rural communities in my home country. From the aforementioned activities I have been engaged in thus far, I can say I’m an empathetic person who is also very purpose driven, a servant, a fast learner, a team player and would do anything positive to get things done either by self or by leveraging on the individual strenghs of others at all levels to achieve goals for the greater good of people and societies.
