Family, travel, and communication studies best describe panelist, Stacy Estrada. As a Ph.D. student of Peace and Conflict studies, her education has required constant travel to various places of the world. However, growing up Latina, where family was the center of her ambitions, leaving home was one of her biggest obstacles to overcome. Today Stacy lives in Costa Rica, while her family resides in California. Being a busy, and goal oriented woman, finding time to stay connected with her family and grow relationships from a distance is at the forefront of her day to day agenda, as she continues to host workshops for young women leaders who strive to make their goals become a reality.
