Srilakshmi Bansidhar

Born & brought up in temple city of Madurai, Lakshmi did her schooling at St. Joseph Matriculation Higher Secondary School , Bachelors in Chemistry from Fatima College, Masters in Applied Psychology from Bharathi Dasan University, Coimbatore. B.A. and M.A. in Veena from Tamil Nadu Fine Arts College, Chennai. She joined the Music Group named “Sapthaswara” in 2010. They are the yearly co- ordinators of 108 Veena Concert, at the Meenakshi Amman Temple, Madurai. She teaches Veena to Students from the age of 8 years to 60 years. Her students are professionals from every walks of life like Doctors, IT Professionals, Lawyers, etc, who show immense passion for music not just as an art but also as a stressbuster. At public demand, She is also starting online Veena classes from February 2019.
Life saw some adversities and Lakshmi had to further pave pathways. She then parallelly picked up astra and pursued Law and completed her L.L.B. at Dr. Ambedkar College, Tirupathi, in May 2018. Her 1st love always remains in Veena. She is blessed with a son Karna Alagarsamy, pursuing his M.Tech in software engineering at VIT Vellore.
