Sian Hughes

Siân began her working life aged 12, in her father’s toyshop. It was there that she very quickly understood the power of authentic communication. Try bluffing an 8-year-old child with pocket money in hand… 30 years later and several professional and international experiences under her belt, Sian is responsible for leading Knauf Insulation’s corporate affairs activities, including media and community relations, and employee communications. She is also responsible for government affairs.
Building trust and instilling confidence is central to her role. The key: speak like a real human being, know when to shut up and listen and show your vulnerability.
Sian is championing Knauf Insulation’s work around diversity and inclusion and sustainability. She is a linguist and passionate about Wales (her home country) and singing.
