Shruti Choudhari

Shruti Choudhari is a strong-minded individual and an architect with an entrepreneurial bent that enables her to balance multiple hats with ease. She is the Deputy Director at B L Kashyap & Sons Limited (BLK), one of country’s renowned listed civil construction companies. Shruti, handles the Group strategy, Business development as well as the Architectural Design needs of the company. She has been instrumental in setting up the SOPs, Restructuring as well as Succession planning. Shruti also heads Chrysalis Design Studio as the Principal Architect, which specializes in architecture and interiors of malls, offices and residences. After completing her Architecture Degree from the University of Minnesota, Minneapolis and Sushant School of Art & Architecture, New Delhi, she worked with AKA architects followed by a stint at BLK as construction project intern. She started her first Real Estate Development Company at the age of 23 in 2003 called Akme Projects Limited, which executed four successful residential projects, before selling the company to the Escorts group in 2007. In the following years, she successfully ran Soul Space Projects Ltd. in the capacity of a Director from 2007 to March 2017 that designed, developed and marketed malls, offices and residential projects. An avid cross fitter and mother of two kids, Shruti believes in the saying “If you cant figure out your purpose, figure out your passion. Your passion will eventually lead you to your purpose.
