I’m a consultant of Gastroenterology and Hepatology and Infectious Medicine who hold “MD” degree, as well as being a woman endoscopist at NHTMRI (National Hepatology and Tropical Medicine Research Institute) since 2010. I worked in the national program for treatment of viral hepatitis aiming at elimination of hepatitis C from Egypt and I’m now a member a team working to prove the elimination officially and internationally through the WHO. I’ve many papers and research projects published internationally in the field of treatment of viral hepatitis in Egypt. I had a training in Endoscopy in Sheffield Teaching Hospitals mentored by Prof. Mo. Thoufeeq and funded by Prof. Wahid Doss in 2018 and joined the BSG (British Society of Gastroenterology) since that time and working on many projects for training and education of medical personnel in Egypt in collaboration with the UK experts, also I had the pleasure of meeting the inspirational Amrita Sethi president of the promising group of Women in endoscopy who carry a very intelligent and respectful idea of helping women colleagues to advance in their carrier and promote themselves being frustrated by the work burden and the less opportunities in the working field finally aiming at better women health for those patients who prefer A woman doctor to examine them specially in deprived areas and I joined the group as member in 2018 and recently became a Member of Education, research and scholarships committee in the American association of Women in Endoscopy ” WIE”
