Shilpa Sonal

Shilpa heads The Sanshil Foundation where she has been actively involved in charitable and social
work aimed towards uplift of the underprivileged children and vocational livelihood activities for adults. She has pioneered the model where ‘green energy’ and ecologically sustainable practices are a source of livelihood for the economically weaker sections Her main focus is on creating literacy programs and vocational training with a new perspective – for children and adults at the bottom of
the pyramid. In the past, Shilpa has been actively involved in ensuring the Anti Sexual Harassment Policy at work place is compliant with. She was impaneled as ICC (Internal Complaints Committee) member with many organisations and actively supporting the Anti Sexual Harassment Act at work. Shilpa is Secretary – Spic Macay Gurgaon – A Voluntary organization that is dedicated to promotion of Indian Art, Music and Culture amongst the youth. She is Co-Author of the book ‘Globalization and Voices from Indian Practitioners’ – ‘ The Non-Profit world in Modern times’.
