Shana Bombrys

Shana Bombrys a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Certified Alcohol Drug Counselor in private practice. She helps children and adults with a variety of concerns. She integrates a range of therapeutic approaches to support individual needs, including play therapy, sandtray world play, trauma focused cognitive behavioral therapy, cognitive processing therapy, theraplay, and motivational interviewing. Shana has over 12 years of training in Sandtray-Worldplay. Shana became certified in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) in 2008 and later studied Attachment-Focused EMDR. Shana received her from the University of Michigan, with a focus on Interpersonal Practice. Shana has worked in a variety of setting utilizing play therapy with children in the foster care system and with families in the refugee program through St. Vincent Catholic Charities. She utilized Santray-Worldplay therapy when working with people in recover through National Association for Alcoholism and Victory Clinical Services.
