I made a foray into the art of grooming and etiquette coaching in the year 2015, when I joined a leading residential girl’s school in Dehradun as ‘Head – Finishing School’. My key responsibility was to work on the personality development of the students from grade 4 to grade 12. In the last 3 years I have also been an etiquette coach to students aspiring to join the hospitality and aviation industry as well as done private consultations for students, young professionals and home makers who are interested in personal growth.
As a non-conformist etiquette coach, I believe in simplifying and adapting the strict rules of etiquette, to make them easy to internalize and follow, as well as make them available and accessible to one and all.
From training school students between grade 4 to grade 12, to young executives, my expertise ranges from grooming, image and deportment to dining and corporate etiquette, that is instrumental in enhancing the personality of my students.
Having lived abroad for over 15 years between Middle East, North Africa and South East Asia, and having travelled the world, extensively, I am equally aware of the nuances of global cultural etiquette and I bring forth that knowledge and experience in my training programs. At home, in India, I am equally at ease with the etiquette and social graces which form the cultural etiquette of India.
As a speaker on Grooming and Personality development, I have been invited to some prestigious institutions in India. At Banasthali Vidyapeeth, I addressed the passing out batch of the Home Science stream, at a pan India conference on Inclusive Education on the topic, “Grooming and Personality Enhancement”. I have also taken sessions on Corporate Business Etiquette, Dress Etiquette, Wine Etiquette, art of Impactful First Impressions and Online Education etiquette at Servo Hospitality School, Hotel Ramada, Dehradun and School of Hospitality Management at IMS Unison University, Dehradun.
In addition to a Bachelor’s of Commerce degree from Bombay University, I hold a diploma in Mass Communication from Xavier’s Institute of Communication, Mumbai, and a certification in Image consultancy from ICBI, Mumbai.
