Schiffbaenker Helene

A Helene Schiffbaenker, PhD, is senior researcher and deputy head of the research group Technology, Innovation and Policy Consulting at JOANNEUM RESEARCH in Vienna, Austria. She has done extensive research on gender in organisations and has led various European and national projects evaluating the implementation of gender equality measures in organizations. Currently she is the PI of the H2020 project ‘GRANteD – grant allocation disparities from a gender perspective’ – a project that analyzes potential gender bias in research funding.
She will focus on the specific role of women in recruitment and assessment processes – as the one who assess and the ones who are assessed.
