Sandra Cook

Sandra Cook has served as Chair of economicSecurity4Women (eS4W), and National Policy officer for BPW Australia. Her key achievements include securing commonwealth funding for eS4W, a federal government funded National Women’s Alliance; administration and acquittal of three year funding programmes; advocacy and implementation of programs for greater financial security for women in small business; developing strategies to secure partners and supporters to expand the reach of eS4W projects and research; effective collaboration with sister Alliances; establishing the Parliamentary Friendship Group for Women and Work, the national Equal Pay Alliance and the Equal Pay Day Campaigns, engaging members of Local, State and Federal government, institutions, government departments, unions, the corporate and SME sectors. Sandra believes that we need to harness the potential of collaboration; that only a shared focus on the economic wellbeing of women will deliver us the equality and empowerment that is rightfully ours.
