I enjoy working with new ideas that don’t have an instruction set or handbook. The bigger the challenge, the more exciting it gets.
I am currently working on Reboot, an ecosystem and integrated facility for de-addiction.
As the Vice President at Paytm, I helped build the eco-system for Paytm in educational institutions. Prior to that, I founded DesiCrew Solutions, a BPO company in the South of India.
DesiCrew is a socially motivated business process outsourcing company with a double bottom line (financial and social development), DesiCrew connects global clients with low cost back office centres in rural India. I stepped down as the CEO in March 2012 but continue to participate on the Board.
In 2012, I also co-founded Safecity, a citizen’s initiative platform to share information on sexual abuse in India.
I am an engineer from Pune University by training and to understand better about management and entrepreneurship I’ve done a short program from Judge School of Business, Cambridge University. I’ve also completed a one year academic scholarship program on Social Innovation in a Digital Context from Lund University, Sweden.
I’m also part of a few fabulous and vibrant communities globally as a Fellow of the Ananta Aspen Centre’s Kamalnayan Bajaj Fellowship, the Aspen Global Leadership Network, the Aspire Circle Fellow and the Swedish Institute Management Program.
My other engagements include
• Board Member Goonj, a not for profit that converts waste to useful resource.
• Mentor Traveller Kids, a young start-up that creates edu-taiment toys for 7-12 yrs olds.
• Advisor to Start Up!, a social business incubator in Delhi
When not working I am generally outdoors in the nature with my 8 year old Dachshund or my friends.
