Salone Sehgal has over a decade of cross sector experience in advising, operating and evaluating businesses. As an ex-entreprenuer and M&A banker, she brings her vast experience and expertise to the world of venture capital.
Salone has already made a mark as a world leading talent in the digital technology sector by her contributions to the industry, both as an entrepreneur and as a respected member of the global tech fraternity. She has been recognised as one of the “Top 30 Women in Mobile” and “Top 100 Asian Stars in UK Tech”. She has also been featured by the “Women in Tech” campaign for her role in redefining leadership in technology. Previously, Salone developed a reputation for innovation within the digital technology sector as the Co-founder, CEO and director of TrulySocial – a venture backed hi-tech gaming company where she led the company from idea to product reality. A regular speaker at the world’s best Games & Tech conferences, she soon emerged as a thought leader on creating immersive user experiences for female audiences, particularly in games.
An ex-investment banker, Salone has previous experience in M&A, Private Equity and Growth Strategy. She left her banking career as a Vice-President, Global COO Office at Barclays PLC. Having worked across global institutions like Morgan Stanley, Barclays and KPMG, she has executed $10bn of live M&A deals and has cross – sector experience, with a particular interest in the technology sector. She also has an MBA from IESE Business School, Spain.
