Ewing is a passionate, transformational global leader with over 20 years of experience. As the Pfizer Upjohn Chief Information Officer (CIO) she is accountable for Business Technology strategy, operations, and technology programs aligned with Executive Management and business objectives for Pfizer Upjohn (a $10B+ business, across 60+ markets, 8 manufacturing plants, and 12K employees). Headquartered in Shanghai, China, her team partners with business leaders spanning the globe to deliver meaningful capabilities across the sales, marketing, research, development, medical, manufacturing, and corporate functions; as well as providing technical operations support, infrastructure, and cybersecurity for the division. Sabina has held several technology leadership roles at Pfizer including Vice President for Corporate Functions & Business Services BT, supporting Pfizer’s Human Resources, Legal, Corporate Affairs and Corporate Aviation divisions, as well as the enterprise wide Global Support Services Organization, Collaboration Center of Excellence, and Virtual Meetings Services. She has been the VP of Specialty Care BT, VP Vaccines & Oncology BT, and successfully supported the launch of several of Pfizer’s leading brands, including Prevnar 13, Xeljanz, and IBRANCE. A staunch supporter of Diversity & Inclusion that allows colleagues to develop and leverage the full
breadth of their talent and capabilities across the enterprise, Sabina’s the past Chair of Pfizer’s Global Women’s Council, has been a member of Pfizer Global Blacks Council as well as the Co-chair of the Pfizer African American Leadership Network. She’s the founding Executive Sponsor for the BT Women’s Leadership Network, served as the Pfizer Executive Sponsor for Howard University School of Business Honors Program, Spectrum360 Film Academy for autistic young adults developing audio visual skills for employment, and Executive Sponsor of Pfizer’s engagement with Girls Who Code to inspire the next generation of women in STEM. A recipient of the Healthcare Businesswomen’s Association Luminary Award, 2019 US Black Engineer & Information Technology magazine Superstar, 2019 Women of Color magazine Technology All Star, and noted by Pharmaceutical Executive magazine in 2016 as an Emerging Pharma Leader, Sabina is a 2018 recipient of the PharmaVoice Top 100 Most Inspiring Leaders in Life Sciences Award. Sabina earned her Bachelor of Science in Commerce with concentrations in Management Information Systems and Finance from the University of Virginia, and a Master of Science in Management and Systems from New York University.
