Sabeen Ahsan is a multi-talented and dynamic personality. She is a noted and successful clinical psychologist with deep-level expertise in mental health, emotional well-being and alternative healing. Her proficiency in human psychology and consumer behaviour has been recognized by various Government & semi-government institutes regionally and nationally.
While she was born in a well-known business family, one of the largest and oldest manufacturers of Perfumes in Northern India. However, her inclination towards learning was evident from her childhood and is her mother’s legacy. She imbibed these values in Sabeen, unlike the traditional thought in business families, over and above the entrepreneurial and innovative spirit which runs in her family.
This urge to learn and upskill herself – to create a path of her own brought her to Aligarh Muslim University, and not only did she graduate with distinction in Bachelors of Social Sciences, but she also advanced her education successfully completing her Masters in Clinical Psychology. Further post masters education completed from Amity Noida.
Her compassionate demeanour and a kind and emphatic personality complimented her education. She had started exhibiting her inherent wish to help society from her college days. She started with rural education and women upliftment. As her education progressed, so did her area of influence and welfare. She is a social worker and an influencer who has the support and prayers of lot of celebrities, bureaucrats and people of influence. Sabeen commenced helping people with anxiety disorders, depression, stress, phobias and overall emotional wellness. Her passion for social welfare continues to drive her day in day out, and with time she realized that she needed to do more. She, along with friends, started a Non-profit organization to benefit the senior citizens, an orphanage for bereft orphans & the needy. Her work provided employment for many women & the organization endeavoured into the national cause for Women Empowerment.
While she profusely continues helping society in myriad ways, her business heritage wasn’t overlooked. When she had to devote extra time to her family and young kids, she simultaneously nurtured a clothing line that was a new business and provided employment to many women in her city.
If this was not enough, she also wears the hat of a Vice President Digital Platform- online sales in her husband’s 450 years old herbal Greek Unani Wellness business – making it a socially responsible organization. A role that she proudly says, it “Gives Vedaan a complete mind and body wellness solution.”
Sabeen is truly a Warrior who not only is a complete woman but has proved to be a prodigal daughter, a loving mother, an equal partner and a benevolent philanthropist.
