Ruhi Brar

Ruhi Brar is the founder of Fahrenheit brand of clothing, in India. Though her journey started in 1992 when she and her partner, Richpal Singh Brar, set up a manufacturing facility in Ludhiana, Fahrenheit was born in the year 2000. Since then they have aspired to create a brand where talented individuals collaborate to deliver extraordinary results that reflect the values they place on diverse opinions, experiences, and backgrounds. Their journey in becoming a responsible brand rests on every decision being taken -regarding designs, fabric quality, sustainability, services, etc. – with a strong customer centric focus. Hence, their customers’ loyalty is not just towards their products but also for the value that Fahrenheit creates for them. Fahrenheit clothing has also worked towards empowerment of rural women by training them in sewing centres set up inside their facility.They are later absorbed in the factory. Ruhi is a textile engineer from Bangalore University who went on to her specialization in garment manufacturing technology from the prestigious National Institute of Fashion Technology, Delhi.
