India

A single mother, an educator, a journalist, a writer, a changemaker, a Gender Sensitization professional with a rich mix of academic, corporate, and life experience, who has fought and survived depression to rise a phoenix. My personal experiences in life has made me a passionate social development enthusiast and I have endeavoured to convert my passion into a career delving into various aspects of Gender Inequality in our society. I am presently employed with JoshTalks, a Gurgaon-based media impact company, as a Public Speaker and Campaign Manager in their ITC Vivel Pan-India Project – ‘Know Your Rights’ or ‘AbSamjhauataNahin’. I am an Alumni of the batch of ‘SheCreatesChange’ under the Change.org India program which is a World online petition. I am running my petition on #HappyParenting asking the Family Court of Tis Hazari to upgrade the Children Complex rooms to provide better Visitation rights to the children and non-custodial parents. In addition, I am a seasoned journalist having written numerous articles on various aspects of social development and gender sensitization.
