Architect & Entrepreneur, The Social Business Acupuntura Urbana
Renata Minerbo is Brazilian from São Paulo, architect and entrepreneur of the social business Acupuntura Urbana (AU). Having started her change maker carrier in 2009, she uses different methodologies and co-creation tools to mobilise communities. Since 2013 she has been working in partnership with companies to stimulate people to become protagonists of the transformation of their own realities, with a lot of affection and hands on.
Besides founding the initiative that today has a team formed basically by women, Renata offers lectures and workshops in events of social impact and sustainability. She designs, coordinates and facilitates projects with the intention of leaving a legacy built collectively, strength communities’ self esteem and the intra sectorial articulation all over Brazil.
Parallel to the work in AU, she collaborates with Elos Institute on the international articulation and facilitation of the program Guerreiros Sem Armas (Warriors Without Weapons), that happens annually in Santos and train disseminators of this approach for social change.
