Reena Chadha is a Gold Medallist in Environment Management with Post Graduate Diplomas’ in Environment Law, Preventive Environment Management and Business Administration, along with many publications and projects completed in allied subjects of solid waste management, plastic waste management, watershed management, environment impact assessment, artificial recharge, craft development, gender mainstreaming and women empowerment to name a few. Working in the field for last 20 years, currently, she is implementing social, environment and gender related safeguards in many projects in Punjab, Himachal Pradesh and Haryana. She has Implemented innumerable capacity development and entrepreneurship development programmes at grassroot level for communities of Punjab especially the wetland areas. She is now working with IPCA as General Manager and IGNOU as Academic Counsellor. In the last one year after COVID 19 restrictions were lifted, she has given awareness to 3000 stakeholders in more than 40 programmes on plastic waste segregation and management.
