Rahel Boon-Dejene

Mrs. Rahel Boon-Dejene is the CEO of R&D Group, the daughter company of her Dutch based consultancy firm, RBD Consultancy. She is a pioneer in social entrepreneurship in The Netherlands and has supported the corporate and development aid world in designing strategic CSR-policy, implementing social programs and measuring Social Return on Investment effectively. in cooperation with a Dutch software company ORTEC, Rahal created a social venture in Ethiopia. Specialized in data entry/analysis, her company has created job opportunity for over hundred young graduates.
This proud mother of five, is a social entrepreneur who aims to bring positive impact to young professionals by creating job opportunities, developing their skills and stimulating entrepreneurship. She holds an honor MBA degree and BA.
In order to stimulate public private partnership and innovate the current development aid sector, she also founded Partners4change in 2011. In 2014, she partnered with Cordaid, an NGO that works towards flourishing communities, to support growth potential SMEs in Ethiopia to achieve maturity through and worked with 45 SMEs so far. She has been acknowledged for her work by many institutions and aims to inspire young women to excel in their lives.
