Raeda joined Nissan in Oct 2019 as Director of Corporate Communications overseeing communications operations across Africa, Middle East and India. She started her career as a diplomat at the Embassy of Jordan in Washington DC – USA back in 1997 and moved to Jordan to work as the Head of Press and Policy Coordinator at the office of HM Queen Rania Al Abdullah of Jordan. Raeda is an experienced corporate affairs professional, with strong background in reputation recovery and issues management. She also held P&L responsibilities within her role as UAE Country Director managing a 50 million USD portfolio for US based firm CH2M in 2017/18.
Her career included several stints within public policy, government relations, communications and marketing through appointments with multinationals, sovereign wealth funds, technology investment and government organizations.
Raeda is a strong advocate for advancing women in the workforce through measurable and practical strategies that target attraction, promotion, developing and retention of women. She is the Chair of the steering committee of the 30% Club MENA, a global multi-sector volunteer effort aimed at increasing women representation in C-Suite positions and on boards.
Raeda holds an M.Sc. in Engineering Management from the Catholic University of America, and a B.Sc. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Jordan and has completed a one-year executive leadership program with the Haas School of Business, University of California- Berkeley. She is also a certified Executive Coach.
Raeda was awarded The Independence Medal by His Majesty King Abdullah II of Jordan in 2002 for outstanding service to the country in recognition for her work on the extraordinary Arab League Summit in Amman 2003.
