Radhika Iyer is an award winning journalist currently based in London. She has over 14years of work experience in reporting Current affairs, International politics and trade, conflicts and Extremism. She is a double Masters in Journalism and Communication. She is a Media Trainer and Public speaking coach. Radhika has worked with Doordarshan, India Today, NDTV and freelances for the BBC. She has travelled extensively and has covered a wide range of issues in both India and the UK-Europe sector. She speaks 6 languages. She is an ambassador for child rights and is particularly passionate about telling stories of young achievers. She doubles up as Associate Director at Akshaya Patra Foundation, a charity which runs the worlds largest mid day meal programme serving healthy and nutritious food to over 1.8 million children daily. She hosts many shows involving the Indian Diaspora in the UK and Europe and leads a show exclusively for start ups and young CEOs of Indian origin. Radhika is a trained fire services rescue team volunteer. She is also a community leader, hosting and helping organise events that bring together think tanks and diverse viewpoints. Cooking native recipes narrated by her grandmother makes Radhika happy, besides dancing and travelling. Radhika has been a Quiz Master and Master of Ceremonies at various prestigious events all over the world. She regularly conducts workshops for young writers and field reporters.
