Rachna leads the Services business at Microsoft. Before this she led Strategy and Transformation at Microsoft, which is Microsoft’s journey to ‘Hit Refresh’ and to ‘Empower every person and every organization on the planet to achieve more’. Before joining Microsoft, Rachna had been a Partner with PwC and then KPMG’s Consulting Practice where she worked with clients to help transform their business using Digital & technology. Her personal journey with Digital started in 2002 when she helped a company floated by two metal giants set up one of the first reverse auction business in India. Later she also worked with one of the first radio cab company to help it establish it’s business in India. Over the years she has worked with clients across industries to help them increase customer experience and improve operations. Her experience includes designing & architecting the digital logistics of a gas mine, re-branding of stores of a large Technology player, sales & post-sales service enhancement of consumer brands, customer experience of large travel & tourism companies, creating frameworks for digital mines and much more. At PwC she has also led the Retail and Consumer vertical She is extremely passionate about taking ideas to opportunities and has set up multiple businesses in the last 15 years. She has also led large transformational initiatives within her companies. At PwC she was identified as an Emerging Leader globally in her first year of Partnership. In her later years she was also part of the Global Chairman’s 500 and served on the India Governance Board during her tenure there. Rachna has been part of teams that have created global methodologies and frameworks for Program & Project Execution and enjoys leading courses and trainings. She is and avid reader and has contributed to multiple journals and papers.
