Rachel Hohn Gioannini

Rachel Gioannini is an Assistant Professor in Ornamental Horticulture at New Mexico State University in Las Cruces, New Mexico. She received her MS in Dec. 2017 and joined the faculty in fall of 2018. Her areas of expertise are ornamental plants and landscape design. She is passionate about how being outdoors influences and affects our mental and physical health. Prior to receiving her MS, she owned her own landscape design firm for 12 years. She also holds an MFA and worked in theatre for 20 years. Her hobbies include mountain biking, yoga, crochet, reading and travel.
