She is a Company Secretary and MBA (Finance) with 20 years of enriched corporate experience as Head- Company Secretary, Compliance and Risk while serving esteemed Boards like Nippon Reliance Life, HSBC Life, Dainik Jagran, AnandRathi and other organizations. She brings in diverse knowledge with a versatile personality. She has unparalleled knowledge in Capital Markets, Corporate laws, Restructuring, Indian & International Regulatory, Secretarial & Compliance, Stakeholders Affairs, Governance & Risk Management, Business Entry Strategy and Due Diligence.
Bagged two International platinum accredited awards for best Annual Reports in the Industry. Also, took care of Nippon Life Strategic Initiatives desk and incorporated those strategies in live Reliance Life Indian scenario. Since, was taking care of Stakeholders affairs, carved out a unique balance between the ambitious pace of ADAG and the fundamentally strong yet consistent Nippon Life.
She is instrumental in writing white papers for Regulatory bodies. Was a key team member in opening-up Insurance sector in India by bagging 26% – then 49%- then 74% FDI approval. Handled infusion of Rs. 5500 Crs. FDI by Nippon Life in Reliance Life.
Bagged various other Regulatory approvals handling Public Issues, Mergers, Demergers, Open Offers, Buyback, Preferential Issues and Restructuring deals. She has excellent relationships with all Indian Regulators, Top Legal Counsels and Big 4s.
Always headed 3-4 multi functional portfolios with management’s confidence in organisations.
Handled 2 foreign stakeholders by incorporating their strategic initiatives in the Company. Implementing Nippon Life strategic initiatives, marking Reliance Life’s inclusive growth and position from No. 2 to No.1.
Successfully closed Cobrapost sting operation without a hearing/ penalty unlike peers.
After working for corporates for over a decade at senior management positions, Pouja founded Solidus Capital & SC Infraa.
Solidus Capital is a management consulting firm into client’s corporate advisory bagging funding- Private equity/ Debt, Govt.approvals and Capital Markets deal advisory, to meet client’s requirements.
SC Infraa is into the Mission to make “Healthy India to Fit India” by “installation of Open Gyms, Playgrounds and Water Parks and increase Topline of Investors, Government and Corporate, Developers, Resorts and Schools by 4X.”
Thus, while running both these, she strikes a unique balance between the ambitious pace of Capital Markets advisory in Solidus Capital and fundamentally strong yet consistent mission of SC Infraa.
