Priya is the Founder of the Firm. For the last two decades, she has advised and represented several Fortune 500 Companies in India and Internationally.
In her career of over 24 years, she has handled several matters, including Company Law, Tax Law, Anti-Dumping Law, Intellectual Property, Family Law, Arbitration Law, and Writ Petition for clients across the globe.
She joined the profession in the year 1998 and started her practice from Chambers of Supreme Court Advocate. Priya also specializes in IP since 1999. Over the years, she has handled all aspects of prosecution and enforcement of Trademarks, Copyright, Geographical Indication, Design.
She has expertise in conducting civil and criminal raids connected with anti-counterfeiting and anti-piracy initiatives on behalf of clients in electronics, automobile, FMCG, software, luxury goods and garments, food & beverages, the publishing industry, etc. She also specializes in IP strategies and large size trademark portfolio management. Priya also advised clients on transactional issues, including IPR due diligence, acquisition, IP Valuation. She has advised several clients and handled several matters concerning Copyright, Design, and Geographical Indication prosecution and enforcement.
She has advised several clients and handled matters on e-commerce, cybercrime, and data protection.
She regularly appears before the Trade Marks Office, the Intellectual Property Appellate Board, various District and High courts, and the Supreme Court of India in connection with IP and IT matters.
She is currently serving as a member of the Anti-counterfeiting Committee of the International Trademark Association (INTA) for the 2020-2021 term.
