Priti Upadhyay

Social worker from Mumbai, who has actively worked for women empowerment and women upliftment since last 20 years. Her work has been recognized by many state government leaders, political parties and also other NGOs across Maharashtra State. Recently she was awarded with Grand Prize of a Joint Campaign by HDFC Bank, MasterCard & Flipkart for Women Empowerment “CelebrateTheHeroes Campaign” and Brand Ambassador was none other than Mr. Anil Kapoor.
She actively works for the uneducated and unemployed women giving them a source of income, guiding them through their development & providing them a sustainable source of income which helps them being self independent in the society. She also helps them to develop Women Self Help Group and guiding them through everything from setting up of SHG, importance of saving, acquiring loans from banks, starting with a small scale business, and sustaining with smooth working, not just starting the SHG but also helping it grow by providing a platform for the SHG to sell their Unique Selling Item in the market and helping them to convert it into a successful business. She has more than 5000 SHG under her guidance currently spread across Maharashtra State.
