Prathap Nandagopalan

For the last 10 years I have been into the environment related works. Starting with a protest to remove an encroachment against an elephant corridor, I have involved myself in various green activities across the city. I have completed my M.Tech degree in Biotechnology by 2013. With an interest in Bird watching I have travelled to many water bodies around to monitor the wetland birds. Seeing the sad state of lakes and water channels, we have decided to restore them and started this organization by February 5, 2017. Our travel through this one year is been listed below.
Kovai Kulangal Pathukaapu Amaippu is a voluntary organization formed for restoration and conservation of water bodies in and around Coimbatore. We have taken up the responsibility of restoring the water bodies so that the Marine ecology can also sustain in harmony. We get a solid back up from the volunteers who give their valuable time for this wonderful cause.
