Praneet Bubber is an accomplished architect by profession, having done her Masters in Architecture from the prestigious Rhode Island School of Design, USA. After several years of working at a top architectural firm in New York, she moved back to India to set up her own architectural consulting practice, Studios PMB, with offices in Calcutta, Chennai & Amritsar. She is also CEO of her furniture brand, Living by Studios PMB.
In an endeavour to give back to society, she set up Amritsar’s first and largest women’s organization & think tank, Phulkari WOA which works to empower its members and society at large. Its Philanthropic work focuses on the fields of cancer prevention, education & environmental awareness. Phulkari presently has a presence in Amritsar and Jalandhar and hopes to spread its wings through the country.
She also works with the Prabha Khaitan Foundation, a Calcutta-based trust working to promote literature. She worked actively as the Vice President of the Old Sanawarian Society. (The Alumni Association of The Lawrence School Sanawar) Her work also includes advising the school on Estate matters and Master Planning. Praneet is a member of the Crafts Council of India and the World Crafts Council.
