Prakash Gandecha; born in Tororo, Uganda.
Brought up in Thomsons Falls, Kenya by his father and mother together with five siblings. Some 50 years ago, the family arrived in UK.
Educated in Luton, London and Guilford fulfilling his childhood dream of studying Business Law at City of London Polytechnic and the Law Society Legal Practice Course at the College of Law.
With 40 years’ experience in the profession, heads a legal practice in London representing businesses, individuals and not for profit organisations.
Over the years Prakash has also trained many successful solicitors, one of whom is a judge in London.
Prakash has advised, led and managed many community organisations and continues to play an active role.
His interests are far- reaching having served as a Selection Event Trailblazer for the London Olympics 2012, chaired a cricket club, played and sponsored an amateur football club and managed teams, one winning a national trophy.
A Patron, a serving Trustee and the Secretary of the Shree Jalaram Mandir Greenford & Community Centre, with the ethos of giving back to the community. The Centre is a place for worship, health and wellness, where free hot meals are served daily and food is provided to the homeless/needy in Central London. The Centre also provides lunches/meals free of charge to school children during holidays in collaboration with the Mayor of London / QPR Football Club and Ealing Council.
Prakash has faced many challenges and opportunities throughout his lifetime and will continue with his efforts for the betterment of all.
