Phuntsho Choden

My name is Phuntsho Choden and I am 24 years old. I graduated from Royal Thimphu College in 2015. I also served as President for a year (2015) to an non-formal youth group known as Youth Initiative for Debate, Deliberation and Development. I attended Youth forums like Youth Innovation Bootcamp on “Child Rights” in Malaysia in 2016 and “South Asian Youth Conference 2017” in Afghanistan in 2017. By nature, I am a self-motivated learner who wants to further my intellectual curve. I love discovering and experiencing diverse cultures and traditions to widen my horizons of knowledge and awareness. I could also be described as a person full of determination, who never quits any plans before achieving it. I pride myself in being honest, because that is a human trait which is essential. Besides, I am considerate in making my decision and use to reflect on pros and cons of any given situation. I have a natural tendency of being very passionate about my work and because of that, at times it becomes a source of frustration and discontentment especially when others don’t share my enthusiasm. Nevertheless, my limitations are the building blocks of my vigor and perseverance. I believe in “walking the talk.
