Chef Payal Rajankar, born and raised in Chennai, is a happy amalgamation of several cultures. She is half-Maharashtrian & half Sindhi and has worked all over the country in her career spanning five years with The Oberoi Group of Hotels & Resorts. Having studied Culinary art from The Culinary Academy of India- her journey has enabled her to indulge in many cuisines from India & across the world. Her recent stint as Junior Sous Chef at The Oberoi Udaivilas in Udaipur has fueled her passion to create delectable gourmet meals right here in Chennai. She loves to see that content smile on people’s faces after a good meal, and will do whatever it takes to make her guests feel that way. Apart from cooking and eating, she loves an intriguing read, a soulful melody & laughing to good humor.
