Her Excellency Ambassador Dr. Pauline Long is a recipient of AUGP Nobel Peace Prize. She has been named the most outstanding woman of the year(2016) and Europe’s most powerful woman for changing lives through BEFFTA. She is a recipient 3 honorary doctorates, 5 international lifetime achievement awards and over 160 community and global awards. She is a Kenyan born UK based serial entrepreneur, peace activist, philanthropist, fashion designer, mentor, media mogul, motivational/Public speaker, writer, Music video director/producer, TV and radio presenter. Dr Pauline Long has been crowned the most celebrated female by Leadership Mind Ambassadors organisation and named African/Caribbean Woman of the year 2014. She has also been honoured in UK parliament as one of 100 most outstanding Africans. The peace activist and human love advocate is the ambassador of The House Of Common Nelson Mandela Book of Tribute. With a huge ambition in politics, Dr Pauline Long is the Chairperson of Forum for African, Caribbean and Asian Women in Politics. She is the CEO and President of Pauline Long Entrepreneurship Foundation which provides business support to woman in rural parts of Africa, provides scholarship to students in Africa, sewing machines to women in villages to learn tailoring and support their families. The foundation is currently supporting women and youth in Zambia, Congo, Malawi and Kenya. The graceful ambassador Dr Pauline Long is the founder of two powerful women’s movements: GAWW(Global Africa Women’s Week) which helps to give African women their back economically and socially and WAW(Women Appreciating Women), a movement that brings women together to support each other in business and philanthropy. Dr. Pauline Long is the Global chairperson of LOANI(Ladies Of All Nations International) A women’s multicultural organisation covering 70 countries. She is also the chairperson for East African European Convention. The graceful media personality is a Universal Peace Federation Ambassador for peace globally and Governor of Academy of Universal Global Peace(A United Nations Partner)
She is a high profile member of Advisory Executive Council at Women Economic Forum(WEF) Dr Pauline Long’s positive role modelling has also earned her the highest African Recognition Honour and Heroic Award, alongside Her Excellency The former President of Malawi, Joyce Banda. A firm believer in the power of passing on the torch and wisdom, she is the founder of “Pauline Long Empowerment and Mentorship Club” where she pairs mentors with mentees. Dr. Pauline Long mentors hundreds of youth in the UK and virtually mentors several youth in Africa, something very close to her heart. Through her dedicated service professionally, she has been recognised as one of eleven
inspirational women in Europe listed on Black Women in Europe Power list and African Woman of the year in UK. She is the only person who has personally supported and awarded the most African, Caribbean an Asian talent in the UK and abroad, she is founder of Europe’s biggest award ceremony for black and ethnic personalities in entertainment, film, fashion, television, arts sports and leadership (BEFFTA) which celebrates and promotes the achievements of a very talented and hard-working community often over looked in entertainment, film, fashion, television, arts, sports and leadership in USA, Africa, Canada and the Caribbean. In it’s 10th year, she has awarded over 6000 individuals and nominated over 10,000 to the community at large. former president of The Maldives Nasheed Mohamed and many more. A wonderful mother and wife, Dr Pauline Long’s huge passion for giving back to children and the youth has led her to found the “Mr. and Miss East Africa UK” to encourage entrepreneurship through
pageants among East Africans in the UK, while working closely with their counterpart (East African) children’s charities.
The unquenchable passion for giving back to humanity has again led Dr. Pauline Long, to establish a “FEED THE STREET” children programme through The Shout Campaign solely funded by her. She has mobilised a dedicated team of personnel embarking on regular monthly exercises to feed street children in Uganda, Kenya and Tanzania through this initiative with the main goal of eventually taking these children off the streets. Dr Pauline Long also serves as a Patron and Ambassador of Melqosh Mission, a charity supporting amputees in Sierra Leone. She is also a firm believer in uniting communities as a result she was appointed ambassador of Africa Nations Cup UK uniting all 54 countries represented in the UK. Her prime focus among others in running their family business “East End Studios” (one of London’s
biggest independently owned film and TV studios and home to TV commercials and music videos for UK’s and US biggest mainstream stars like Professor Green, Chipmunk, Wretch 32, Skepta, Chip, Stormzy, Wiley, Starboy Nathan, Kelis, Azealia Banks, Radiohead, Olly Mars etc.), has been to open doors especially for unsigned talented artists whom she personally support and mentor. She is also a fashion designer with a label Pauline Long collection with a column on Europe’s biggest African-Caribbean newspaper “The Afro News”.
Her award-winning daytime global TV talk show “THE PAULINE LONG SHOW” (on SKY CHANNEL 175) in UK also streaming live globally online at www.bentelevision.com) is a platform that promotes community projects, good causes and highlight on people empowerment and global injustices. She has interviewed over 6000 UK, US and Africans politicians, showbiz personalities and extraordinary people.
Amazingly, with over 150 community awards for her service to the community Dr. Pauline Long continues to support several international and UK African/Caribbean projects and charities including, Ambassador for African International Achievers Awards, Ambassador for the SHAI FOUNDATION Christian charity that educates orphans in Haiti, Ambassador of Betty Makoni’s (Face of CNN Heroine) Global Charity “Girl Child Network Worldwide; a charity that campaigns and supports girls who have been raped and
abused women. She serves as an executive member of board of advisor of Women of African Origin Music Industry (WAOMM). She is the patron of Dublin African Film Festival. She is also ambassador for African Youth Achievers Awards, ambassador for UK Kenyan Achievers Awards. She is matron for VOICE OF HOPE WOMEN FOUNDATION. Global Ambassador for The Global Visionary Women Network.She is patron for Migrant Disability Network. She is the patron for the charity AOS which advocated for abused women and children in Malawi, Africa, patron for International Disabled Foundation Sierra Leone. Dr Pauline Long is also the face and ambassador for the UK National billboard campaign for PROJECT EMBRACE – I AM ENOUGH. It is a campaign encouraging the lack youth to embrace their natural beauty and ambassador for International Women Of Power organisation Her recent appointment which mirrors her core belief in human love is the ambassador for I AM DIASPORA 4 IDPs. She is currently working with this charity to ensure the Internally Displaced in Nigeria and other parts of Africa are not denied their basic human rights such as education, health and food.
