Paula Soares

Paula Soares holds a PhD on “Creative Processes and Levels of Consciousness” – “Poetics of the Soul” (2003) that includes a Visionary Short Story on a Futuristic Ecovillage in the Appendix.
Having a Visionary and Change-maker Spirit she has been working on spreading New Paradigms & Methodologies in a traditional state University in Portugal since 1991, switching traditional evaluation (tests and exams) to “Creative Diaries” for the last 10 years.
In 2012 she co-created “Academia de Sofia” a platform that spreads New Paradigms into Higher Education through Conferences, Forums, Public Performances, Expeditions and Global Partnerships.
As a passionate “Life Long Learner” she has been collecting learning experiences and environments in many pioneering fields like Waldorf Education, Ecovillage Design Education, Integral Theory and Practice, the Transition Town Movement and Transformational Leadership.
Passionate to collaborate within the spreading of the fieldknowledge of the Global Ecovillage Network, she recently attended the first GEN – (Global Ecovillage Network) “Training of Trainers” course and became one of the GEN Ambassadors for Portugal.
