Nuno Miguel Neves Da Silva

Development Consultant, Co Project Farm

Portugal

A “recovered” Economist, Nuno participates in these complex, uncertain, volatile and ambiguous times with an intricate mesh of approaches such as Reflective Social Practice, The Work That Reconnects, Deep Ecology, The systems View of Life, Theory U, Pedagogy and Theatre of the Oppressed, the Art of Hosting, Deep Democracy, Sociocracy 3.0, Dragon Dreaming, the Transition Movement, Permaculture and Regenerative Cultures. Besides designing, hosting and teaching collaborative, participatory, experiential approaches to learning (as much as unlearning), he also works with communities and organizations as a development consultant and embodies passionately the role of network weaver.
He currently works with Co Project Farm, and is regularly collaborating with different spaces. He can be found curating learning journeys in the emergence network, co-creating the RIPPLES of the New eXperiment; contributing as a founding member of FESCOOP – the first ethical finances cooperative in Portugal, training and contributing to the Transition Towns Portuguese Hub and collaborating with the Global Transition Network. He is a member of the Pool of Trainers of the Portuguese Platform of Development NGOs and of the Pool of Trainers of the Council of Europe and a catalyst of the Reflective Social Practice European and Global Communities of Practice. He likes to bridge centers and peripheries, discover blind spots and work through the cracks in the systems. It’s where the light comes in. He has worked in four continents and currently lives in Faro, the south of Portugal with his life companion and their 3,5 years old twin boys. Together, they aspire to live in community and be part of co-creating regenerative cultures.
