Nisha has over 18 years of corporate experience across Mumbai, Pune & Delhi courtesy of being a fauji wife. Infact her life journey has been chronicled in the book – ‘Magical 40 @ 40’ about how, while being a fauji wife amidst the challenges & missed opportunities, she emerged as a winner.
Today, she runs her own handicrafts business with 2 brands in her kitty.
Her jewellery brand ‘Joyera’ is much sought after amongst the elite defence officers’ wives known for their impeccable fashion sense. ‘Joyera’ brand jewellery is also available to purchase from 50+ outlets across India – be it Kashmir or Port Blair! Some of Joyera’s premium designs are also on display at COMO collective – Goa, Joyera’s maiden foray outside defence. Also, Joyera storefronts at Amazon & Lbb Ecommerce Portals.
While Nisha’s recently launched brand ‘Aitihya’ has had a fantastic run at Jaypore.com as a jewellery brand, she plans to add more handcrafted merchandise from Indian Rural Artisans to this brand in the near future. She was also recently shortlisted to attend an all-sponsored training for Digital Marketing & E-Commerce by UNESCAP which was held at Maldives in Early-June of 2022.
My aim is to create a self-sufficient ecosystem for Indian rural artisans so that their craft stands the test of time and the next generation takes it up willingly. I need to create the bridge between them and the direct buyer for ease of sales with good margins for all. Have started working towards my dream already!
